Wow, I sucked on the predictions this go around.

Match 1: Inferno Match: Kane vs. MVP

My Predicted Winner: Kane

RJ45’s Perspective: Yeah, this one was a no-brainer. Hopefully this will be the blowoff to this rather stupid and pointless feud.

Match 2: Ladder Match: Kendrick/London vs. Regal/Taylor vs. The Hardy Boyz vs. MNM

My Predicted Winners: Regal/Taylor

The Actual Winners: Kendrick/London

RJ45: Looks like 5iN was right on this one. They made it a ladder match and added the Hardyz and MNM at the last minute. If they had promoted this bad boy like a week in advance, instead of changing the promoted match, they probably would have more PPV buys. Oh well, maybe this match alone will push the Armageddon DVD sales higher than your typical SmackDown PPV sales do.

Joey Mercury reportedly took a really awful shot in the face from the ladder which is going to take him out at least 2 months.

Match 3: The Miz vs. Boogeyman

My Predicted Winners: The Miz

RJ45’s Perspective: Aww damn! I lost my prediction on this one too. Personally, after this match, I’d like to see both of these guys go from the ring and leave The Miz to hosting Diva competitions and interviewing wrestlers.

Match 4: Chris Benoit vs. Chavo Guerrero

My Prediction: Chavo Guerrero

The Actual Winner: Chris Benoit

RJ45’s Perspective: DAMMIT! This feud has made little sense up till this point. First, Benoit gets involved with Guerrero’s estate, and that gets dropped. They have a match, and Benoit wins. He is then labeled a woman beater. With Vicky playing a big role in this feud, all logic pointed that Guerrero taking the title with some Vicky interference, and he finally gets elevated. Nope, instead, Benoit defeats Chavo again! If they have a 3rd match and Benoit wins that one, I will scream pretty loudly and like a girl.

Match 5: Gregory Helms vs. Jimmy Wang Yang

My Prediction: Helms

The Actual Winner: Gregory Suga’ Shane Hurricane Helms

RJ45’s Perspective: Okay, I would like to see Gregory Helms have the Cruiserweight Title ala RVD had the Television Title or Honky Tonk Man had the Intercontinental Title. They are already building that up well, and I would really like to see the guy give this belt some credibility until he loses it to someone like Mysterio at Summerslam. That’s what I’d like to see. What actually happens remains to be seen.

Match 5: Last Ride Match - The Undertaker vs. Mr. Kennedy

My Prediction: Mr. Kennedy

The Actual Winner: The Undertaker

RJ45’s Perspective: Man, I would have thought that they would have taken this to at least the Royal Rumble. Oh well. Mr. Kennedy has had two wins in this feud, and so its only appropriate that he loses here so he can move on to a possible feud with Benoit.

Match 6: Lingerie Contest - Layla vs. Kristal vs. Jillian vs. Ashley

The Winner: Ashley

RJ45’s Perspective: They are pushing this for more Playboy sales when Ashley poses. Personally, I think Layla would have been a better choice for Playboy instead of Yet Another Blonde, but we are probably going to have to give that one another year for her to get built a little as she has done little to nothing since she won the Diva contest.

Really though, does this fucking matter? I mean, the thing ended with once again…Big Dick Johnson! You know? The joke that was only funny the first 800 times. I read one column this year, I forgot where I read it, but whoever he was, he brought up a great point. What is with WWE and “Man Ass?” Between Big Dick Johnson, Vince McMahon, William Regal, and Vito…I think I have had my fill of man ass for one year. Whatever happened to the Diva Thong-a-thon of 2003, for the love of god?!

Match 7. John Cena & Batista vs. Booker & Finlay

My Predicted Winners: Cena/Batista

The Actual Winners: Cena/Batista

RJ45’s Perspective: A pointless match to continue the neverending feud between Batista & Booker, with Finlay becoming an intregal part of it all. We pretty much knew who was going to win this match. I say that Batista takes on Finlay at the Royal Rumble and Booker costs him the match, building to a Booker/Finlay match at Wrestlemania.

What I am going for here is pushing RKO in all three Heavyweight title matches, in an attempt for them to hold all of the gold (and pretty failing every step of the way, but hey!). It appears as if Daniel Rodimer will be joining RKO in some house shows, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he joins the faction. If not, swap Daniel Rodimer for Kenny. I think my proposed Tag Title match is AWESOME. Especially if they would give it at least 20 to 25 minutes. Either way, expect some sort of dream match or made up dream match to happen.
